Since 2006, Kira has been hosting her successful craft fairs in our home-base of Greenpoint, Brooklyn. For the 10th Hearts & Crafts Affair, she has moved the fun across the river to a swanky new spot in the Lower East Side – Sweet Paradise.

Stop by and pick up a gift for the holidays. This year, you will find items like candles, cookbooks, knitted goods, wallets, hand-bound journals, zines, jewelry, clothing, prints, silk screened tees, pottery, baked goods, stationary, scarves, stuffed creatures, face scrub, hats and music. Support local artists and crafters then grab a drink at the bar from Iwona.

Come to the Greenpoint cafe on Sunday, December 13th from 12-6pm for the 9th Hearts & Crafts Affair. Brought to you by the lovely Kira Birney.

Kira has been hosting the Hearts & Crafts Affair at the cafe since the early days of 2006 and it remains a truly unique and independent event.

Shop over coffee and support your local artists and crafters. Buy some hand-made holiday gifts or treat yourself to the wares of vendors like: Bobby Croze, Stefanie Mihoulides, Charlotte Sears, Amber Sather, Erica Rothchild, Jessica Franks, Hillery Sklar, Marilyn Glinka, Khara Ledonne, Angela Francis, Cam Cruz, Kristen Willoughby, Goldteeth (Jesse and Emily), Love Letters (Chris Sullivan), Magnes Sisters, Cecilia Elguero, and Jack Kalish.

Holiday Hearts & Crafts Affair

Back in 2006, our original barista/artist/crafter Kira founded the Hearts and Crafts Affair. The craft fair has been a great a success since it started, bringing local artists and crafters together inside of our lovely Greenpoint café.

This coming weekend is the seventh installation of this great event and this time the fun will last for two days! So, come to visit us on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th from noon-6pm. Grab a coffee and get some creative holiday shopping done.

You will also have the chance to hear music performances by: Mannequin Circus and Attn: (featuring Cheryl) and Harris Trucks.
